51st State is a Long Island based brand and retail location. The name 51st State was derived from Long Island being a huge influence as well the Roman Numerals L I being 51. a bit closer. HISTORY :
51st State was started as a brand in early 2009. Drawing influences from anything and everything around me, I created a brand that really was representative of the subcultures I grew up in and around. There is always a meaning behind why I do things in the brand. As an addition the brand the 51st State shop opened its doors on Sept 13th 2009. With a very clean aesthetic the shop stocked is with quality hardgoods and apparel. As a shop I am dedicated to quality and perserving the values in skateboarding and the culture that surronds it.
