Hey everyone sorry for the delay, I’ve been working on our web store (which will be done soon) and giving this site a bit of a facelift. I hope enjoy the new look .. We have some bruins on sale for 49.99. Come down and cop a pair. Great shoe to skate in. And you can see above we just got the new Janoskis in. Pretty fly if you ask me. Come down and get your footwear game on there is a sale on all footwear.
Back at his creative ways again Chris Carbaugh puts this montage together for the shop. I am really into this edit and was super stoked when he offered to put it together for me I knew it would be dope. Please be sure to check out his site Spring Ahead Fall Behind for his upcoming video. Thanks to Billy, Bob, Nick, Kieran, & Anthony for the skating.
The folks over at The Goodie Bag were nice enough to show an interest in the shop & brand to do an interview with me. You can click on the link above to check it out. As per usual I am pretty brash and real about trends and scenes. Sorry I am not sorry haha. But I seriously do appreciate the interest.
If you’ve ever been to the shop, or know much about the brand in terms of design and style I like to keep everything clean and simple. In a time where outlandish behavior and apparel reigns king FFS is taking a different road. Here we have a new addition to the shop and brand, blank unbranded shirts. Plain tees are a staple for anyone. These are quality 100% Cotton T-shirts that have a solid fit. The size run is Medium through X-Large and cost 7.99 each or 3 for 17.99. Expect to see more colors over the next couple weeks. These are colors and quality you aren’t going to get at Walmart at 10 for a buck. Come down and keep yourself laced in simplicity.
Finally, I can let the cat out the bag a bit and talk this video up.. My homie Chris Carbaugh, is putting out this video that features some more friends, Billy Willis, Bobby Izzo, Anthony DiRocco, & Nick Ancilleri. Aside from the awesome skating the way it is put together is just super creative and well done. As well as the diversity in skating really gets me hyped. Take a peak at the trailer and Bob’s promo. Mind you he skates regular. These guys are really working their asses off to get quality footage so give it a peak, you will not be disappointed.
After our the holiday our deck wall has been pretty bare. I am not bummed on that at all, I really appreciate the support. Some new Kayo decks just arrived here this morning. Their wood and shapes are pretty awesome. I was just recently turned onto them and I am a fan. They will go quick so if you’re a Kayo fan or just looking for something new come by.
At first I just was like oh 2010 no biggie and then I saw everyone being like the end a decade and all that jazz and it got me thinking to what I was doing 10 years ago. After giving it some thought I realized I was layering sweatshirts and thermals just looking for a dry spot out front to skate. I’ve pretty much come full circle, obviously grown a bit but coming back what you’re really rooted in is a dope feeling. 2009 was a pretty wild year for me opening the shop but it all starts with like going out and finding a dry spot to skate with your homies. Sounds cheesy but it’s 100% true.
Stay Gold.
Newy.
PS – I still haven’t switch tailed the benches at circle park and yes I was supposed to do that 10 years ago.
